Due to the coronavirus lockdown, everyone is at home and spending quality time with the family. We have listed some great DIY Activities you can do in lockdown with a combination of ideas you can do as a family for keepsakes, fun-only games plus some art and craft activities and some DIY Activities.
Such fun things are simple for kids, DIY Activities, and can mostly be created with everyday products you’ve got around the house. With almost no access to playgrounds and playdates, children can easily get bored and this can lead to increased screen time. Best of all, none of these require an electronic device or an app, so you don’t have to worry about too much screen time.
Check out these creative activities which you can enjoy with your kids –
TARGET GOLF

Then you give your child the chance to hit a golf ball into one of the holes. Whoever has the most points wins.
INDOOR CAMPING

You simply set up a tent in the living room or basement.
Then create a fake campfire and ask your kids to spend inside the tent. Setting up a children’s campsite would keep them occupied for hours!
It is a perfect thing to do during the lockdown and you will make some fantastic memories.
CARDBOARD BOX COLOURFUL

Well, you can beat that outbreak by placing your child inside a cardboard box, giving them a crayon and encouraging them to draw until their little hearts are full
COTTON BALL PAINTING

Then ask your kid to dip them into the paint and then put the colored cotton balls on paper and make a beautiful painting.
Painting with cotton balls is super exciting for kids and a great way to broaden their painting experiences away from just traditional paintbrushes.
RING TOSS

So all you need an old towel tube made from paper. Then you have to cut the middle out of sheets of paper. Eventually, you decorate and throw around your paper towel tube with your homemade rings.
TIN CAN BOWLING

All you have to do is paint some old tin cans or thermocol glasses and grab a ball. They can have their very own game in the comfort of their own home.
BALLOON STAMP PAINTING

PAPER PLATE FISH

Take a plate and Color the paper pink (or any other color you wish) and let the paint dry completely.
Cut a tiny triangle out of the paper plate (a piece of pie). It should make the fish mouth (and use the extra bit for the tail).
FINGERPRINT ART

HOMEMADE PLAYDOUGH

Playdough is also perfect as an indoor activity. Also, you can make playdough at home.
Ingredients –
2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup salt
4 teaspoons cream of tartar
2 cups lukewarm water
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil (coconut oil works too)
Food coloring, optional
Wax paper
Using the ingredients listed above, stir together the flour, salt, and cream of tartar in a large pot. Then add in the water and oil and coloring (if you’re using just one color only). Continue to cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the dough has thickened and begins to form into a ball.
Remove from the heat and place the ball onto wax paper. Allow to cool and knead until smooth. If you’re wanting different colors, divide the dough now and add five drops of color to each section, mixing together until it’s ready for playtime.
