How to keep your kids busy during Quarantine

We love our kids, but let’s face it; parenting is tough enough without being stuck inside with kids due to the coronavirus pandemic.

No more attending school. Forget about playing outside with kids. No outdoor activities. Social distancing is the new normal, and that means total house arrest.

Now the question arises how can we keep our family safe and our children engage during Self Quarantine?

PUZZLE
Puzzles are a good way to keep your child busy and engaged. They keep you as well as your kids busy. They are fun and help in the intellectual development of your child. They encourage problem-solving abilities and boost memory.

ART
This is one of the most fun activities that you can do with your kids in quarantine. Stock up on a few art supplies and pieces of paper and you can keep your child busy even as you work from home. It will make your kid creative.

BAKE TOGETHER
Cookies, cakes, brownies. Anything! Baking is one of the most fun things that you can make your kid learn during quarantine. Get your children to cook/bake their favorite dishes. It gives you a chance to bring that dusty cookbook out and have fun cooking with your children.

HAVE AN INDOOR PICNIC
Grab a sheet, or make a tent house. Make Indoor picnic fun for your kids and yourself “I’m going to a picnic and I’m bringing…” Each person takes turns remembering (in order) what everyone is bringing and then adds one thing each turn.

READ A BOOK
Quarantine is the best time to get your child develops the habit of reading. They now have plenty of time as they have nowhere to go. Read a book to them every day. This will help them to build their vocabulary.
