  • Avoid public gatherings
  • Stay at home during this lockdown period

  • Wash your hands repeatedly with soap, at least for 20 seconds

CAN COVID-19 BE PASSED FROM A PREGNANT WOMAN TO THE FETUS OR NEWBORN?

There is no proven fact that if a pregnant woman with COVID-19 can pass the virus that causes coronavirus to her fetus or baby during pregnancy or delivery.

However, there are some cases in which newborn babies having COVID-19. This shows that if you have it, you can pass it onto your baby after birth by close contact. Till now, there are no reports that show that viruses being in either amniotic fluid or breastmilk.
